Project:
Building a strong online presence for HR Tech Consulting to reflect their expertise and resonate with clients
Timeline:
3 weeks: November 2023
Process
Solution
As a UX/UI Designer and a Project Manager, I managed the project through a design thinking process. This involved:
Communicating effectively with the client to understand their needs and goals.
Coordinating with a developer (found and hired by me).
Collaborating with the developer to ensure design translation.
Delivering a website that effectively communicates their services and values to their target audience.
Phase I: Empathize & Define
PROBLEM STATEMENT
“How might we effectively showcase Hired Minds' expertise and ensure intuitive navigation on their website, to optimize user engagement?”
SOLUTION STATEMENT
Our goal was to create a user-centric website that promotes Hired Minds' services, drives engagement, and fosters trust among visitors.

COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS
To gain inspiration and identify best practices for our website I conducted a competitor analysis. I looked at the websites of several other HR companies. I examined various aspects such as design aesthetics, content organisation, navigation structures, interactive features, and overall user experience.
Phase II: Ideate & Prototype
INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE
This information architecture is designed to provide visitors with a clear and intuitive navigation experience, guiding them through key aspects of a website and consists of the following main sections:
Home
compelling visuals to engage visitors
an overview of a company
a button "Explore Our Services" prompts users to explore into the company's offerings
Approach
company's approach to HR technology consultancy
information about methodology and values
unique propositions that set a company apart from competitors
Services
a range of services provided by the company in detail
represented as cards for easy navigation and comprehension
Team
team members, including photos
highlighting their roles within the company
to build trust in team's capabilities
Blog
to share valuable insights, industry trends, case studies
to establish a company as a knowledgeable authority in the field
to share content across social media platforms, fostering user engagement through discussions and drawing visitors to explore a website
Get in Touch
a clear call to action to contact a company for consultations or partnerships
a contact form
a brief message inviting visitors to reach out for further information
WIREFRAMING
After confirming the information architecture with the client, I moved forward to explore design concepts at a more detailed level. This led me to transition to designing high-fidelity options for the pages, which I then presented to the client for feedback on each individual page.
Phase III: Design & Implement
STYLES AND COMPONENTS
IMPLEMENTATION
Collaborating closely with a developer, we translated the finalised designs into a fully functional website, ensuring pixel-perfect accuracy and seamless functionality across various devices and screen sizes. Throughout the implementation phase, we maintained open communication with the client, providing regular updates and seeking feedback to ensure alignment with their expectations and goals. The implementation phase marked the culmination of our collaborative efforts, resulting in the successful deployment of a website that reflects Hired Minds' brand essence and delivers an exceptional user experience.
Reflection
In future projects, I would prioritise clear communication with the client by outlining the design process in more detail. This would involve explaining each stage of the project, from initial research to final implementation, to ensure the client understands the rationale behind design decisions and feels more involved in the process.
